Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies with an Elementary Pre-Credential Concentration

The Elementary Pre-Credential Concentration in the Early Childhood Studies Major is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for entry into a Multiple Subject (elementary) credential program or an Education Specialist (special education) credential program.  

NOTE: Students who are interested in pursuing the PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction Credential are advised to complete the Early Care and Education concentration.

CSET is waived for students who complete the Pre-Credential Concentration or the Special Education Teaching Concentration when they apply to the Multiple Subject or Education Specialist Credential program at Sonoma State University.  The Subject Matter requirement and the prerequisites for enrolling in those programs will be met through the coursework.
